In this video, we meet Redcon1 athlete Ernie Lilliebridge Sr. Ernie has competed in powerlifting for over 30 years, having competed in over 200 competitive powerlifting meets. His best competition lifts are: 864lb (squat), 518lb (bench press), and 805lb (deadlift). One of Ernie's biggest joys is getting to help coach both of his sons compete at the world level in the sport. As a family, the Lilliebridges had been previously competing as many as 10-12 times per year, but have since scaled that number back to 3-4 competitions per year. Ernie also discusses his many injuries as a powerlifter including a pec tear, hamstring and quad tears, and shoulder and triceps tears (just to name a few). Look for more instructional and motivational videos from Ernie Lilliebridge Sr. and the entire family coming soon at Redcon1.
