"Taste and texture is okay and mixed fairly easy and the overall macros look good. Main ingredient in protein blend is beef collagen peptides and they do not disclose the make up of the blend or the total amino acid profile. Makes me think it's almost all beef collagen which is not a complete or anabolic protein. Will look elsewhere for my protein needs until they start disclosing what is actually in this."

Bring back the old formula

"The MRE LTE protein powder was my favorite, I loved all of the options. I recently bought the new formula (banana nut bread, when it was in stock). I'm disappointed in the new taste. I wish they would bring the old formula back. I am doubtful I will buy this again."

New Formula just horrible

"I’ve been using MRE Lite since the gym I worked for started selling it, about 5+ years now. I just ordered my regular and noticed a huge difference in taste quality. At first I thought it was my shaker, but after reading all these other reviews I realized you all changed the formula. Highly disappointed and hope you all change back, but won’t be buying anymore protein from Redcon1 until a change."

New Formula - Tastes and Smells Odd

"Just placed a renewal order from the regular location and low and behold they're different (old left, new right). Not sure why they changed the formula but it now tastes and smells synthetic. The color is more yellow and gray which is off putting and the texture is different as well. Been using this protein powder for almost 4 years but it's time to seek out a new brand. Sad to see this change take place but I can't even choke this down so good bye MRE Lite."

"I’ve used MRE Lite exclusively for two years, it was my favorite protein powder. Ever since they changed the formula, it’s terrible! The texture is now super thin, the flavors all have a chemical like taste, and the protein DV has been significantly decreased. I won’t be buying again until redcon1 goes back to the original formula. Such a disappointment."

Hard to Source and New formula is not great

"I live in Canada and the prices have skyrocketed, the flavour is nowhere near the same and that's if you can even get it in the first place. I wasn't aware of the formula change until I did some research but I noticed immediately because taste was just off. Blueberry Cobbler is my overnight oats breakfast go-to, and it was not the same. I used to tout this as the best protein to all my friends, now I'm shopping for a new brand because its not the same and I can't find it locally near me anyway. Very unfortunate."
